Daiyun Chen, Shanghai Stock Exchange

         Daiyun Chen, Ph.D. of Economics, CFA, is the vice general manager of Product Innovation Center of Shanghai Stock Exchange. Dr. Chen previously served in Haitong Securities Co., Ltd. He successively served as assistant general manager and vice general manager of Derivative Product Department of Haitong Securities. He also served as vice general manager, chief risk officer, and compliance director of Haitong Innovation Securities Investment Co., Ltd.

Wenjin Kang, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics

         Wenjin Kang is the Professor of Finance at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SHUFE). Professor Kang is also the director of SHUFE Security Research Center and a research fellow at Shanghai Institute of International Finance and Economics. Before joining SHUFE. Professor Kang had taught in National University of Singapore and Renmin University of China (Beijing). Professor Kang received his Ph.D. degree from UCLA and B.S. degree from Peking University. Professor Kang’s main research area is empirical asset pricing, with the focus on liquidity, security pricing mechanism, and expected return predictability on different kinds of financial markets. Professor Kang’s research works have been published on prestigious international academic journals such as Journal of Finance (JF) and Journal of Financial Economics (JFE). Professor Kang has also provided policy research analysis and market comments to newspapers, magazines, and other mass media channels.

Tse-Chun Lin, The University of Hong Kong

            Professor Tse-Chun Lin received his Bachelor degree in Economics from National Taiwan University and MBA degree from National Chengchi University. He graduated with an M.Phil. in Economics from Tinbergen Institute in 2006. In 2009, he graduated from the Ph.D. program at University of Amsterdam, and joined The University of Hong Kong as Assistant Professor at Faculty of Business and Economics. He was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in 2015 and to Professor in 2018. Professor Tse-Chun Lin’s research areas include empirical asset pricing, empirical corporate finance, and behavioral finance.  He has been publishing his research in leading academic journals such as American Economic Review, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Management Science, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Review of Finance, etc.

Neil D. Pearson, University of Illinois

             Neil D. Pearson is the Harry A. Brandt Distinguished Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received his Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He teaches courses in financial derivatives, financial engineering, and financial risk management. His research interests include models for pricing and hedging financial derivatives, commodity derivatives, and risk management. In addition to publishing papers in a number of academic journals, Dr. Pearson is the author of Risk Budgeting: Portfolio Problem Solving Using Value at Risk (Wiley). He is an associate Editor of the Journal of Financial Economics, the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, the Journal of Risk, and Economics Bulletin. Dr. Pearson has extensive consulting experiences on the valuation of financial instruments and the measurement and management of market and credit risk. He is currently affiliated with Rutter Associates (NY).

Ke Tang, Tsinghua University

           Ke Tang is a Professor in the Institute of Economics, School of Social Science, Tsinghua University, where he teaches courses in economics and finance. He received his Master of Financial Engineering from University of California, Berkley in 2004, and his Ph.D. in Finance from Cambridge University in 2008. His research has covered such topics as: commodity markets, big data and AI in economics. His papers have published in Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Annual Review of Financial Economics, Financial Analyst Journal, Journal of Banking and Finance etc. He is also a frequent participator in various policy-related conferences held by institutions such as UNCTAD, OECD and FAO etc. He currently serves as the managing editor of Quantitative Finance, the associate editor of Journal of Commodity Markets and the associate editor of Emerging Markets Finance and Trade.

Shouyang Wang, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences

               Shouyang Wang, Ph.D., Distinguished Professor of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Changjiang Chair Professor of Ministry of Education, PR China. He is a fellow of The Third World Academy of Sciences and an academician of International Academy of Systems and Cybernetics Sciences. He is currently the director of The Center of Forecasting Science of Chinese Academy of Sciences and the dean of School of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is/was the president of International Society of Knowledge and Systems Sciences, a vice president of International Association of Financial Risk Management, a vice president of International Society of Global Optimization and the president of China Society of Financial Systems Engineering. He is/was the editor-in-chief, area editor, managing editor, associate editor of over 20 journals including Energy Economics, Information & Management, and Journal of Optimization Theory and Applications. He is the founding editor of several book series including Taylor & Francis Book Series Advances in Risk Management. Besides, he is also an advisor of over 10 financial enterprises.

Robert I. Webb, University of Virginia

           Professor Webb is the professor at the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. He earned his M.B.A. and Ph.D., degrees in finance from the University of Chicago. He is also the Editor of the Journal of Futures Markets. His work includes: trading fixed income securities for the Investment Department of the World Bank (Consultant); trading financial futures and options on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (Member); designing new financial futures and option contracts for the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (Senior Financial Economist); analyzing the effects of deregulating the financial services industry, at the Executive Office of the President, Office of Management and Budget (Senior Financial Economist); examining issues related to international futures markets at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (Senior Financial Economist). He has published his research in a number of academic journals including the Journal of Econometrics and the Journal of Business and Economic Statistics. He is the author of many books including Trading Catalysts: How Events Move Markets and Create Trading Opportunities etc.

Xuejun Jin, Zhejiang University

          Xuejun Jin, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor. He graduated from Nankai University in 1984 with a Master's Degree in Economics. After graduation, he taught at Zhejiang University. He was successively promoted as Associate Professor and Professor in 1990 and 1994. He was selected as Master's Supervisor in 1990 and as Doctoral Supervisor in 1998. He is one of the earliest doctoral supervisors in Economics at Zhejiang University and in Zhejiang Province. In 2011, he was chosen as “Qiushi” Special-Term Scholar ZJU, the chief expert of Major Program of the National Social Science Fund and academic advisor of National Doctoral Dissertation of China. In 2018, he was awarded Distinguished Specialist of Zhejiang Province. He is currently Dean of School of Internet Finance, Polytechnic Institute, Zhejiang University and Executive Dean of Public Policy Research Institute of Zhejiang University.

Yizhong Wang, Zhejiang University

        Yizhong Wang is  the Professor at Department of Finance,  School of Economics, Zhejiang University. Now he is the Vice Dean of the School. He has published a number of papers in journals such as Economic Research Journal and Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, and has undertaken major projects of National Social Science Fund and Humanities and Social Sciences Key Research Base of the Ministry of Education.His research interests focus on digital finance (including Internet finance, big data finance, blockchain, etc.), corporate finance (including corporate investment and financing, investment bank), asset management (including empirical asset pricing, quantitative investment), and macro finance ( including international finance, monetary economics).

Liyan Han,Beihang University

  Liyan Han, born in Beijing on January 12th, 1955. He is the Professor at Department of Finance, School of Economics and Management, Beihang University (BUAA), Economic Advisor for Aviation Industry Corporation of China, Ltd., and Independent Director for China Aerospace Investment Holdings Ltd. He received his Ph.D. in Beijing Normal University in 1991, majoring in Applied Mathematics and System Theory with focus on fuzzy information and knowledge engineering. He once did his Postdoc research on macro-economic analysis at Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.

His research interests focus on fintech with artificial intelligence, asset pricing and international investment. He published a paper with Prof. William L. Megginson and Dr. Miao You in The Financial Review,awarded as the best paper in 2013. He fulfilled the key project of Natural Science Foundation of China in the title of Diversification of State Foreign Exchange Reserves and International Asset Allocation,awarded as the excellent project by peer review. His team has issued the RMB index for providing macroeconomic information and preparing derivatives innovations since 2007, whose weights is derived from data of international trade and FDI. He has recently chaired a new key project of Natural Science Foundation of China in the title of Fluctuations in FX markets, capital flow cross border and financial risk control since 2019.

Xingguo Luo, Zhejiang University

         Xingguo Luo, Associate Professor in Finance, School of Economics, Zhejiang University. Xingguo's primary research interests are asset pricing, derivatives, quantitative trading, energy finance, ABS, digital and inclusive finance. He has published research works in the Journal of Financial MarketsJournal of Futures MarketsPacific-Basin Finance Journal and five of them are lead articles. He actively presented his papers in major international finance conferences and served as Session Chair for Financial Management Association (FMA, 2010) and Asian Finance Association (AsianFA, 2012) annual meetings, the International Conference on Futures and Other Derivatives (ICFOD 2017, 2018) and conference Co-Chairs for the first and second International Conference on Energy Finance (2016, 2017). He also received research grant from the CME Group Foundation in 2012. Currently, he is on the editorial board of Journal of Futures Markets.
